As our Chief Economist, John brings independent advice and scrutiny to Switchpoint’s Investment and Risk Committee. Working with the committee as an external adviser, he provides expert challenge on our investment approach, which aims to systematically construct diversified portfolios that deliver above-average returns over the long term.
John has over 35 years’ experience as a professional economist. He previously served as Chief Economist at Norwich Union Investment Management and as an economic adviser to the Treasury. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
